Sport am i doing okay on my diet?

Sport Fitness
I see that ppl. commonly put their daily diets on here for all to comment on, so I thought I'd do the same. I recently lost a lot of weight (about 70 lbs.) through diet and exercise, but I still have fat on my body, especially my stomach. I'm starting to think my diet ain't so great. I'm 190 lbs, 5 foot 9.5 inches, 34 years old.

This is what I am eating today, but my diet varries from day to day.

breakfast: 1.5 cup cheerios, .5 cup skim milk, 1.5 cup vegetable juice.

snack: fat free yogurt (with strawberries, dannon I think), 1 banana.

lunch: 2 cups lettuce, .5 cup raw carrots, .5 cups raw cukes, 2 tbs light done right olive oil dressing, 1 cup cottage cheese.

snack: apple, 1 piece whole wheat bread, 2 tbs. natural peanut butter.

dinner: (haven't had it yet but i know . . .) 2 cups pasta, 1 cup spaghetti sauce (with lean beef in it).

snack: probably handful of quakes (those mini rice cake things) or some pretzels.

on other days, for lunch i may have tuna with low fat mayo, or rice and beans. I also eat usually eat a low fat granola bar for a snack. oh yeah (blush) i love the beer, and have managed to back off to several (is 6 several) once a week.

i also try to work out regularly, but work and kids keep me busy. i have a gym membership, and i jog 3-4 times a week.

looking for general commentary, especially if i'm doing something very wrong. I really want to lose another 15 lbs. or so, but my weight loss is down to a crawl.

thanks, greg

where's the protein at breakfast? where's the protein in your afternoon snack? where's the protein at dinner? where's the protein in your final meal?

seeing a pattern?
get 20g of protein at every meal, minimum. Lunch is fine, but all other meals lack enough, or any, protein.
and watch the evening carbs. rice cakes are high GI and pretzels just suck in general...refined flower, salt (though they are usually much lower in fat tha potato chips at least).

you really need to try to limit that beer consumption. drink light, or ultra, and definitely no more than 1 per day. Binging on beer on weekends will undo the weight you lost all week.

try changing up the cardio some, and make sure that the jogging is still high enough intensity.

yeah i have trouble getting the protein, especially in the morning.

i guess it's goodbye beer, cause one is just a tease.

thanks for the input. i really appreaciate it.
