Am i doing my situps right?

Ill make this quick - starting "working out" 2yrs ago (5min b4 bed situps&pushups) It worked quite well actually, abs started showing. But after a yr i kinda lost motivation, then regained it for 3months about 3monts later. Then next few months were very on and off, probably more off. So I recently (today decided to start up again) however im not quite sure if im doing them right. I used to get a burning feeling when i was done doing them, now nothing.
I have my knees at 90degrees, arms crossed, and do about 50, although i think the point where i stop using solely my abs comes around 30. I usually follow these with some side to side bycle kicks, 100 or so and this does can sometimes create a quite intense initial burn but it quickly fades. *note it didnt to day, so where should i go from here, should i just continue doing this or has it done all it can for me?
side note: as you can tell im not all that serious about being ripped.
