Hello everyone to the advice off my first post I am here to tell you about my daily intake and excercise. I am 6'4 and currently 248. I was just taking in 1500 calories a day. The foods usually ranged but for the most part here is my routine.

I wake up at 4:30am and the first thing I do it stretch out. After wards I do 100 crunches (I use the ab roller because of the neck support.) Then I proceed to go outside and jog for about a mile and a half. That takes me about 15-20 minutes. I brisk walk the last couple hundred feet just to settle down. I then go back inside and go another 100 crunches. I then stretch again and afterwards I grab a drink to take my vitamin. I don't take any weigh loss pills (IE Trim Spa or Stacker 2) I wanted to do it naturally. I don't eat breakfast usually. Sometimes I might eat a banana. I go to work and I just drink a lot of fluid. I don't drink anything carbonated what so ever. I stopped that about a year or so ago and just drank sports drinks all the time. Until I realized how much sugar I was taking in. Now I only drink Crystal Light because it has taste and there was next to no calories. I do occasionally drink just plain water but only after working out. For lunch I do 1 of 2 things. I either eat 3 PLAIN McChicken sandwiches from McDonalds which was advertised around 325-350 calories a piece (With Lettuce/Mayo) So I figured it would be around 300 plain. So that puts me at 900 calories. Or I wait til I get home and eat a Hungry Man XXL dinner which is like a pound and a half of food and the calories are around 800-850. I do get pretty full no matter which option I choose. I eat lunch between 11-1. For dinner which I try to eat before 7 if im hungry is usually do a Progresso Chicken Noodle Soup which is 200 calories. Sometime I eat a Weight Watchers cookies and cream ice cream bar which is 150 calories I think. So now writing this out I am a few hundred calories under 1500. I am not starving myself because I am pretty full when I eat. Recently (meaning today) I started doing an afternoon workout. Which consisted of jumping jacks, pushups, curls, and crunches.

I realize my goal of 225-230 by May 10th might be out of reach but Id be happy with 10lbs less putting me around 235. I have been 248-249 for past 3 weeks. So any advice would be much appreciated. Don't worry I have thick skin. So let me have it :D

Regards,
Charlie

I am not a professional... obviously lol. I'm on my own journey to weight loss, however there is something I do notice. Now you're eating around 1500 cals, but they're not very healthy cals from what I can see. For one, as far as I can tell you don't really eat breakfast, and from what I've heard that meal should not be skipped. Another thing I noticed was that you don't really eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, etc. The 3 chicken burgers don't have the necessary nutrients that say fruits and veggies would give, besides they definately have more fat... and not the good fat like in fish or avocado's and things like that. I definately think that eating more nutritious foods and not skipping breakfast would definately help you lose some weight, it worked for me so far :D

Appreciate the advice. I did some grocery shopping this moring and got some fresh fruits and veggies. Also got some nice fish cuts aswell as some chicken. I'm going to bust my rump!

That's awesome! If you eat those things: fish, chicken, (both healthily cooked), fruits and veggies instead of the burgers and prepackaged meals, I'm sure it'll help you lose some weight. Eating right is so important in weight loss I know that for a fact. Like I said before it worked for me... JUST changing my eating helped me lose my first 30 pounds or so, and now I've added the exercise in to go along with that. Good luck!
