agressive burning sweat

sorry for this topic...well I have a question.
I used to work out a lot couple years ago....no matter what I did, I didn't sweat at all. Now I started to run last year and I don't care I sweat, what bothers me is sweat on my face. There is no way I can touch my face or pat dry with towel. It startes burning like hell. I don't know why is it.
I have treadmill at home...but I don't want every 5 minutes jump of it and get my face washed....
Does anyone has this problem? Does anyone knows a solution? Maybe not enough intake of water?

I've been experiencing this lately, although it doesn't sound like I get it as bad you are describing. We have had verrrrrry cold weather, and my skin does not like it! My face is always dry, as well as legs, knuckles, etc...

Like I said, its really not too bad for me, but when it is bad, I just use some lotion or oil to keep my face from getting too dry. This may be completely unrelated to your situation, but I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents...
 
You've probably lost some of your endurance if you've been off a couple years.

Also, salt helps the body to retain water.

You might consider a headband.
 
Acne makes your face burn like a mofo - do you have any acne or are you on any meds? I remember I would hate to sweat because the acne would make it feel like my face was melting..
 
I really don't have a sign of acne. My face is perfect clear....but I would not risk it with any oil on my face.. but I will try some cream and I will let you know:)
 
My face also burns when my skin in dry, but if I use lostion I sweat twice as much.

I would recommend tucking a dry paper towel into your shorts when you run, then BLOT (not rub) the sweat from your face occassionally. This is what I do and although the paper towel gets soaked, it keeps most of the sweat off my face.
 
I acctually tried to rub in my face petroleum jelly. It works...well about 30 minutes until I rub it of together with sweat from my face. But even then its not that bad!!!
