Age: 16 - Height: 5'11 - Weight 190

Hi there people, my main question for this part of these wonderful and helpful forums is what is a good sport that can burn lots of calories? I am leaning towards basketball or hockey. I am also wondering what are some exercises for one of these sports, that will help me increase my skill in the specific sport, and burn calories.
 
cycling or triathlon are big calorie burners. For example last season I would burn 1000 calories plus in an single hour of training.
