After workout weight gain?

Hi there, I did a workout yesterday which consisted of 30 minute circuit, running, use of a bar bell, crunches etc etc. I have weighed myself today and have gained 6lbs overnight, why is this? I also really ache and could sleep for a week. I do intend to do this workout once a week, it is at my local gym.

I don't have a set program as yet, just starting out on my weight-loss journey, so need all the advice I can get.
 
Don't worry about it. My weight can fluctuate a lot in one day. It could be from the muscles repairing themselves after your workout. Look at weekly trends with your weight loss instead of daily results.
