A friend told me that using whey powder and the such has nasty side effects like reducing the size of a male's........unmentionables, bloating etc.....the price to be paid to get easy protein?
I barely get 90g of protein a day on my best protein day, and a protein shake would easily bump it up to a 150g per daily thing (I think....that's what whey powders do eh?).
Anyway, are these side effects truthfully realized? Are they just a load of horsewash?
There are two GNCs where I work, and I could browse in there for a good whey powder, but I am afraid of these demeaning side effects and I do not even know what brand to purchase.
