Hey,
I'm 16 years old, 5'9", 165 lbs. I'm a baseball player for my high school team and just went through Reconstructive surgery for my right elbow, better known as Tommy John Surgery, on 5/06/05. With extensive rehab and being in a half-hard cast for 10 days and a brace limiting my movement for about 8 weeks.
My question is if anyone can help me construct a good diet i can keep up with to at least stay in some shape for my 6-8 months of not being able too lift any weights for my upper body what so ever. Howerver, i am going to intensly work out my lower body for next season, as i may very likely be able to play by like mid season at the latest of next season (i am a catcher).
Also, i have talked to many people concerning this surgery, and what i am too look forward to during my painful rehab. But, if anyone is familiar with this surgery and has any imput i would really appreciate it.
Thanks very much,
Chris
P.S. it is a huge pain typing with just my left hand when i'm a natural righty LoL
