Just wondering if anybody has any experiance.
Was it painful?

And did your cravings go crazy, did you gain, bloat, how long did it last?
I've been low carbing (started w/ Atkins but am pretty much South Beach now) almost 3 years ago (3 yrs on Dec 8th!
) however sweet potatoes, beans and fruit is the highest carb foods I've had.. I'm afraid to add in whole grains- whole wheat pasta, rice, some breads, etc.
I still don't plan on eating processed foods or sugar. My goal is to have a more well rounded diet and a bit more variety.. I want to stay with whole foods/ unprocessed foods... (well almost, I do ? me some beef jerky).
I think I'm mostly afraid of eating that stuff because I worry I'll have a little and then keep going.. and then eventually I'll have that muffin and then that peice of bday cake.. and then Monkey Bites from Cold Stone.. and then, you know... all the good yummy yummy goodness that makes us all fat and squishy.![Ack2 :ack2: :ack2:](/forum/styles/smilies/ack2.gif)
My cousin is a personal trainer and he keeps preaching the whole cycle your eating thing...
He said he eats what ever he wants except for when he's training (football) and then he will do good 6 days a week (low carb/ high protien) and then have whatever he wants on the 7th day. He says this helps him drop lbs quick...
He's drilling this in my head but he has a beer gut that isn't going away like it used to... lol
I'm SURE I'll get yelled at about reading stickies.. and I promise I did read some.. but I also promise I'm a skimmer througher and didn't find what I was looking for.
