Addicted To ebay...Might as well face it.

I was just wondering how may of you out there are ebay junkies. I just can't get enough.

i used to like ebay but had to give it up. had a bad experience with paypal (had not even used it in a year) next thing you know, my bank account is drained from some person in another country. i had not received any emails, somebody just hacked into my account apparently. i dont miss it too much and i'm doing quite fine without ebay!

I used to be totally addicted. One christmas we even bought EVERYTHING from ebay. Money's been tight though, so I havn't bought anything in a little while.

I just read your post WW....as much as I love ebay and paypal there is a loop hole that can get you in trouble. If you sell something, and that person didnt' like it,or what have you...they can just freeze up your paypal! It took almost 6 mths to get our paypal "unfroze"

Oh my gosh are you guys kidding me I love ebay, and was useing paypal thinking it was completly safe. Oh my gosh I am going to have to get rid of it now that is so scarey. Did you manage to get your money back, from the person who hacked into it. And for freezing the account does that mean if you have a credit card on there then that is frozen two. Man I am getting rid off it right now.

Wow I am shocked with your experiences. But I know about that freezing your account thing. It didn't go that far for me because the person who wanted to retract thier payment ended up resolving the issue when she received her items. I did however get a notice that they could freeze my account.

I can't believe that someone drained your account. Wow that changes a lot for me.
