Acai Berry Weight Loss

Hi everyone. This is my first post so I'll try to make it interesting :)

I have a friend who works for one of those Acai Berry weight loss programs. He said he can hook me up with one of their packages for free. Should I take him up on it? Do those things work?

Since I'm unemployed, he also offered me a job in his company. I don't know what to do. I don't want to affiliate myself with a potentially bad product.

Does anyone have any experience with Acai Berry?
 
Don't bother. Tell your friend to have a little more respect for himself and find a job where ripping people off and scamming aren't normal occurrences.
 
I have tried Acai Berry. I haven't had any results from it, but I do know a lot of people who have. I think that I just haven't been taking it right... which I am now as of two days ago... I would say that there is no harm in trying it. I know the sceptism but I did do research on it and it really is a healthy substance that many people used before it became popular. I haven't had any bad reactions or side effects.... just not loosing the weight... hopefully that will change.
 
ok thanks for the input everyone. i think im going to try it out anyway. its free, so why not. its not like it could hurt... or could it? :)

I'll let you know how everything goes with this acai stuff in a couple weeks
 
please do update us on your experience with it... i tend to think it's a scam, but i'd be interested to hear about it from someone with first hand experience!
 
I wouldn't care to hear.

When relying on a supplement, natural or not, I much prefer to rely on peer reviewed research.

Relying on personal anecdote will get you into a heap of trouble since, this gentleman for example, could experience progress while taking the supp and it all could be attributed to placebo, his training or other areas of his diet.

Mind you, people who start taking a supplement for weight loss usually change other components of their health/fitness lifestyles.

To truly assess the efficacy of such a product, you'd have to have everything else remain the same.

It's due time people start thinking critically.
