Acai Berry Products?

I'd like to hear what you have to say about acai berry products. I'm not really interested in what you may have heard or read, I'd like personal experience.
 
Ive tried them in foods before (foods supposed to be "enriched with acai") tried for a week and noticed no difference. Maybe I have a stomach made from steel but I don't think so. My experience? don't believe the hype!

What were you expecting to happen in 1 week? Unless you make a drastic change in your diet or eating habits, nothing will have much effect in 1 week.
 
Based on everything I read, I've never used Acai products besides trying a bottle of POM juice with acai once.

Since there isn't a shred of independent scientific evidence to show that acai is anything but a tasty fruit/berry with good antioxidant properties (like ALL berries and dark skinned fruits show), I never bothered buying any of the products out there like the spammer was selling.

Don't worry, I deleted your spammer buddy's post and account and perm-banned his IP address. He won't be allowed to sway the jury here. :)

When I do things, I don't normally do them in halves. I drank Acai mixed with water for every drink I had (besides a morning cup of team) acai mixed in with melon salad for lunch followed by an acai protein bar for lunch and normal steamed veg with turkey and yup, you guessed it Acai over that. A fresh fruit salad afterwards with the acai fruit seeds over it (strawberrys, blueberrys, raspberrys..etc) The rest of the week was very similar. I didn't expect to lose any vast amounts of weight, but I expected an energy boost or feelgood boost in my energy levels. I did notice my wallet change in size tho....

See, if I does up on vitamins and other things like Ginko, Ginseng and etc, I notice a change in my energy levels and my excercise levels on my HRM. I see this within a few days, A week on Acai and no real difference at all, nothing I couldn't get with other vitamins and come caffiene.
 
It's a great antioxidant, but beyond that and the flavor don't expect anything.
