ABS Diet

I saw my doctor today and he told me that I should think about ditching my 1200 calorie diet and trying the ABS Diet.

Has anyone tried this diet? What does it consist of? Should I?
 
It's a decent read.

Your other option would be to read through the stickies here at the forum which will provide a basic understanding of the fundamental concepts that all good diets are built upon.

This way you don't need to rely on one particular program or diet and you can apply the fundamentals to your individual circumstances. This will be the most likely option for long term success.

The rigid program or diet mentality is not something that is very productive for most.
 
I did that ....

I did the Abs Diet. Good information, but too hard for me to follow. I felt like it took up alot of time preparing everything. I was trying to make the recipes from it, and alot of it I didn't really like. Plus, I did it for about 2-2 1/2 weeks and lost nothing.

Now I have been watching my calorie intake and eating what I like, but making smarter food choices. I am down 11 lbs in 3 weeks !!

Everyone is different, so it could work for the right person. If I were you I would go spend some time at the bookstore and read some of it before you buy it.
