Sport Abrupt Stop in Gains Normal?

Hey everyone,

I've been gaining weight fairly consistently for over three months now (from 137 to 152). I started at 3000 calories and currently I am at 3500 cal. / day, gradually increasing a small amount week to week. I've noticed for the past few weeks (3) Ive been able to gain only the slightest amount of weight despite gaining a pound a week just before that.

I was just wondering if it was normal for such a jump from 3500 being my gaining amount to being my slightly above maintenance amount in that short amount of time.

Current stats:
weight: 152 lbs
height: 5'10
age: 16

well, you are 16. yer not done growing. calories required at your age can bounce around much more than someone my age, 29.

stick with it. weighing in weekly isnt' very accurate anyways. I can fluctuate my weight by 3 lbs in a single day, depending on water intake, salt intake, and how massive a dump I take.
