What your referring to is BMI, while BMI is better than no guide, it is not great, a better option for determining healthy body-fat levels is to measure your body fat %

The main area BMI fails is those who have good levels of muscle and low fat being considered obese by the BMI ratio, in the same way it may show a person with unhealthy low levels of muscle and moderate to high fat as being ok.

For example, I am 5.8 and my optimum healthy weight would be 162 which is at the top of the bmi range for my height. Below 145 and I would actually be considered underweight.

Thanks to everybody for taking time to reply .

The point is that I don't look healthy at all .
Just like the girl in the pic .
I want to gain some weight first .

yes you need to gain weight, but just eating heaps is not the answer either, the food needs to be not only nutritious, you need adequate protein and strength building exercise so the weight you gain is not just fat but build healthy levels of muscle which will improve appearance and help your metabolism.
