Ab area

At the minute I'm doing crunches, leg raises and the plank but I was curious as to what you guys find effective for working the gut?
 
Abs

There are tons of ab exercises you can do, a simple google search of Best Ab Exercises will turn up plenty of ideas. I personally use a yoga mat and towel and as soon as I wake up and right before I go to sleep I do 100 crunches, then try and hold my legs 6 inches off the ground for 10 seconds. You can also do a tighter and shorter crunch, lift your legs up and down while keeping them straight, or bicycling is good for your abs. Might also want to look into a machine or gear like IsoBo fitness.
