I was asked why I wasn't keeping up with my journal, and I didn't have a good reply 'cept I was lazy. Soooo...once again with my crafty title we shall sail on the seas of my turbulence of lifting and throwing.

Deadlift, RDL, row, power clean, front squat, push press, back squat, push press:165X1X11

B)zercher squat:275X3, 365X3, 385X3, 225X12

*3 weeks until the Arlington Highland Games. :)

B)Open stone: 8 puts
C) HWD: 6 throws
D) LWD: 6 throws
E) Heavy hammer: 8 throws
 
Do you ever practice catching to help keep things balanced?

I mean, jeez, all that throwing and no catching is going to leave you with some imbalances fo shure...
 
Shotputter dont catch the shot neither do javelin throwers and they dont seem inbalanced. You just gotta make sure you counteract in the gym. Plus all the proprioreceptive movements of other events!

Ummmm...tell you what. You spend one day trying to catch the stuff being thrown and I promise you'll never have the urge to catch again. I had a really bad joke in there to start with but took it out so I can be politically corect.

A)15 min EDT complex-
Got through 3 sets of 2 reps and the nut on the bb cap came flying off. I spent the next 10 minutes trying to get it lined up and screwing it in. I decided I was off-key at this point and went onto the next unplanned movement.

C)front squat/back squat:225X3/5, 275X3/5, 315X3/5, 335X2/5

E)various bicep and tricep stuff
 
Well I still thought everyone over there drank it, who cares where it is from? Do you Scots hate the Irish? I thought you and the Irish kinda ganged up together to beat the crap out of the English?
