A newbie question

Hello, i am the illusion of permanence. I am a new member, clearly. I have a question about working out. I currently have a good plan going, that i like which involves full body workouts, pure calisthenics 3 days a week. I love the endurance strength that body weight workouts gives me, it however does not seem to give me the strength i need (for punching), only endurance. How does one incorporate weight training into the regiment i already have. Would i stop my current regiment and do weights for a little while then switch back? for some people maybe a full body calisthenic and weights in the same day is reasonable, ill have you know, it is not for me :)
In short, i want to add weight training without sacrificing the benefits of my body weight excercises, at the same time trying to keep working out to 3 days a week, i usually keep my workouts between 1 hour and 1 1/2.
 
I wouldn't completely switch over from bodyweight training to max strength training, and then back again later, if you have good reason to continue with the bodyweight training. A better option would probably be to alternate between bodyweight and weights every time you train, or to do some heavy strength training at the start of the session, then lighter endurance work at the end of the session.
