a lot of running

once a week i run an 11 mile run...i have been doing this for about two monnths. On the other days of the week i am running between 3 and 6 miles. what should i be eatting on my long run days. i usually eat breakfast after the long run and eat my normal meals.. i assume it is normal to feel more hungry throughout the day? what suggestions do you have toward the recovery after a long run like that.
 
i have to run on an empty stomache...i usually do the 11 miles early in the morning like 6am...but on the days that i do it at 10ish i eat a bowl of cereal or oatmeal. My vision does seem to be off during the day...is this dehydration? or i feel like im eatting ALL day after the long run...is this normal?
 
yeh i get the same, if i go for a really long run very early in the day i seem to keep getting hungry all day. but its ok, its your body asking for more food because your output is more,its all relative
 
yeah this is true, exercise in the morning increases your metabolism, so therefore you burn more energy and as a result require more
