A Little Research and Anaylsis about Weightloss

I think that a large part, for why I am slightly overweight is because I never took any awareness of what I was eating. I watched a study about the rising amount of obesity and why we become fat, and it shows that genetics has a large part, that is responsible for weight gain. Some people are born with a gene, that when they eat a large meal and become full, they would still eat anything that looks desirable if presented to them, despite the fact that they are full. I believe that I may have this gene and that I may have to fight against the binge eating ( constant snacking.)

Since Women on both sides of my family are overweight or morbidly obese, I know that without careful awareness of what I eat and a lack of excersice, I can be expected to look like them at some point in my adult life. My weight has been balanced at the same weight for years, but I realized recently that there is a slight increase to the scale. It seems as though every 5 to 10 years I would increase 10 pounds. 1 pound per year, on a 10 year length range. Within my 40's I could be up to 180 to 190 lbs. That number could increase because metabolism slows down with age.

This were just some of my thoughts about the challenges that most people have to go through, and what would happen if we kept listening to our desire to have more fattening foods.
