A little push to get me in the right direction

My BMR is 1,908.20, am i susposed to eat 1500 calories a day in order to start losing weight? I've recently started working out again... I do 25 minutes of the stair master and then I usually go do about 100 sit ups and that's basically my work out everyday.

advice? suggestions? comments?

i'm 180, 5'7, 21 years old male.
