A great philosophical question

Very good point.

That is a pretty darn good question! *lol*

Which leads to the question: If I take the light out of my fridge, will it stop me from eating late at night? :p

Why is there NOT a light in the freezer? (mine anyway) Maybe you are not suppose to eat FROZEN food at night.

Why is there no light in my Liquor Cabinet?

Am I not suppose to drink at night?

That would make school more interesting....

scotches have very different tastes for different occassions... and even different seasons... there are some that are heavier that I dont like in the summer...

oh wait you're still in school -you're drinking to get drunk not for the taste experience :D

:banghead: Damn these kids and their abuse of alcohol! Don't they know the wonders of the substance? Don't they know the beauty of the spirits? Grab anything, BAH! :banghead:

I am not that classy... I only have a favorite vodka (Level).

I did an experiment about a year ago with a buddy...

We got a really really cheap bottle of vodka- it think it was 5 dollars for a gallon... and ran it thru an old britta water filter about 10 - 15 times...

And the cheap vodka became quite drinkable - not quite grey goose or ketel one standards but actually drinkable straight up

I wish we had started witha clean brita filter so that we could have cracked it open and seen what it had collected but we were being cheap.

Man that sounds like something my wife would do.

An Awesome experiment indeed!

Not all college kids drink to get trashed, well at least not all the time haha. I like a good Stella Artois or some Mount Gay every so often.

To answer the original question, the light is in the refrigerator so that you can tell the good beer from the crap. That's what you should be doing in there after dark.

There is no light in my fridge, which sucks.

I'm forced to snack on non-refrigerated things when it's dark, but I don't eat late at night anyway. I sleep.

Why would you buy crap beer? Seems like the light is only needed, in this case, because of a poor personal decision.
