I've been doing this for a/b a year and it slimmed the heck outta my arms!!
since this style of dance is mostly using the arms~
It's called parapara or techpara~ I believe I mention this awhile ago but I thought parapara/techpara deserved more attention~ =P since it's so great and fun to do once you get the dances down~
at first it seems kind of hard to do.. and the dances seem so complicated to people... but you're actually wrong~ that's your mind telling you that b/c it's unfamiliar with the style~
If you watch the dances a few times and get ahold of the moves they do,they're actually easy to do!
and it's worth learning b/c if you do it for awhile you will sweat~ and it looks so cool!! xD

below are some examples of parapara and techpara (techpara is actually just a faster version of parapara from what I know)
here~~ is an advanced techpara~ when you get used to the dance style and know what you're doing~ you migh tbe able to pull off dances like this:

This is one of the easier techpara dances:

this is a J-Euro parapara dance~ J-euro is basically just a japanese pop song that's been remixed to sound like eurobeat~ (eurobeat is the main kind of parapara music)~
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6frdVLs4NDQ
along with my one of my favorite parapara songs!!:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pstY_Ok7KiQ
an easier parapara dance I'd have to say would be:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94acHzTxIIw
and if you think that's too hard then I don't blame you~ but there are ALOT easier ones out there~ trust me~ I just couldnt' find an easy one on youtube~ =P
Any questions on parapara or tech para~ feel free to ask me!! I've been doing this style dance for years now and I know alot!! I just wanted to spread the word on this wonderful dance style!!! x3
If you have any questions on where to buy ParaPara DVDs or VCDs then I will give you all the info you need on it~!!!
(VCDs are cheaper and have no region, which is good b/c this stuff is import from Japan, which has a different region code on their DVDs than we do.. however you can play whatever region you want right here on your computer usually, but I still reccomend the VCDs more than anything)
