So, I have lost a lot of motivation. I went from working out twice a day(cardio) to now none at all. I would do some p90x after work, then run about 3 miles at night. I t has been about 2 months since i last worked out. I just lost all of the motivation i had after a relationship which went south. Now everything else feels like its falling apart, and I am trying to push myself to be how I was for those months but am finding it very difficult. What are some ways you guys get motivated? or just what should I do?

It is okay to feel blue, but it is not okay to neglect yourself. Think about the fact that maybe that person was just not made for you..it happens; it's a part of life. I know you may have lost your energy because you feel drained due to the bad things that happened to you, but don't lose your positivity! Look at how far you made it, wow! I'm sure you don't want to feel trapped again in an unhealthy body, so why do this to yourself?
I am sorry for any mistakes, I'm romanian and english is my 3rd language.
Oh, and btw, there is a romanian saying "If you would stop everytime a dog barks, you'll never get to the destination". Hope I helped, have a nice day!

I actually don't feel too bad about the break up, it's just what basically started this little hiccup. So now I am just trying to figure out how I was so motivated in the first place.

Perhaps your routine got boring to you. I feel your pain, but you got to get back up and keep going. You did amazing. I hope you're happy with the point you got down to, I'm sure you looked great and felt great, you were tearing it up from what it sounds like. Don't let something drag you down. Don't change because of one negative blimp that then magnetized excuses. Get back up, dust yourself off and get back to what you were doing. This path will drag you to a place you don't want to go back, I'm sure you don't want to be 324 again, that's why you dropped the weight and worked so hard to get down to where you were. Don't feel bad, we all have done it at some point or another. You can do this. Try a new work out regime, something you enjoy that doesn't even seem or feel like exercise. It all starts with just getting up and doing it. You'll find a renewed passion for excelling at weight loss and getting healthier again.

Thanks for the words, it actually helped me a bit.

I echo that, find something new and interesting! I doscovered Zombies, Run! a running app that tells a story while you run. It's awesome! I know it's not for everyone, but it got me outside and moving for the first time in years and I'm really enjoying it. I'm also doing Insanity to give me a big boost!

So yeah, change up your routine, find something new and different and give it a go. I understand loosing motivation, that's me all over, especially after something like a breakup. But you've just got to pick yourself up and keep moving forward. You did it once, and you can do it again!

Hi

You are still you, and it can seem like a bereavement when a relationship ends. Remember you are fit and healthy, I have a health problem for which I must now take Lyrica, makes you gain weight. Try to use positive thinking. Again, I would stress you are still you, healthy, and as one door closes another one opens, I am sure better things are coming your way, which you deserve. Best Wishes Barbie
