Sport 500 calorie shake

Sport Fitness
On certain days such as MWF It is hard to eat alot during the day because I have class from 8-12 straight I come home and eat a big meal then I have about 2 hrs and get in another small meal. Back to class I go then come back then eat then go workout then eat again. This leaves me at about 1700 calories. I need calories and I don't want to go to bed full so I make a shake with about 500 calories. 2 scoops whey, 1 serving cottage cheese, 1 cup of milk, and 2 cups of strawberries. That was just today but usually i just switch up the fruit. Is this alright? I would be eating this today at about 10pm and getting to bed around 12. I don't know what to take for a snack, any reccomendations or is this fine?

Try eating protein bars for snacks. It's small and convenient and you get protein plus calories. makes pretty good protein bars, I usually eat a few of these a day since I'm busy too.

1) Your 190 lbs. and only eating 1700 calories? I'd figure at that amount you'd be losing weight pretty quickly.
2) Why don't you want to go to bed full? Your body uses a decent amount of calories during sleep. Ever wonder why sometimes you'll wake up sweating? Your bodies repairing itself, and your minds just as busy when you sleep.
3) Dreamster do you work for Powerbar or something?

Nice info, its hard to really watch my weight because the only scale is at the gym and I prefer not to wake up and go there and weigh my self then come back home. So its never really accurate because I would eat then wait an hr to workout depending on how much/what I eat I weigh different so I just weigh my self every couple of weeks at home. Home being Burnsville but I live in Winona for college.

Last time I weighed my self it said 182 that took about a month to get too so I guess that might actually be bad because I am tryin to not lose ANY muscle.

Its hard to get to bed full because if you've been a diet for so long you can tell when you're low on calories and u get tired so when I eat I get energetic and cant fall asleep.

I used to eat power bars quite a bit, but I opted out of them because of the amount of saturated fat 3.5g may not seem like a lot but If I eat Natty PB and a handful of almonds in one day my fat will be up to like 25% total calories. I try to keep fat under 20% which happens about 3 times a week when I don't eat pb or almonds:bncry: I tried to make my own with oatmeal/whey/pudding...ect but i messed it up haha.
