Ello All, when I joined the site I at the 120 weight loss mark (280) now from then I'm 50 pounds lighter, and Around 230, (228-230) My Initial Goal was 220, but really I think I'm gonna go a bit lower and drop to 200, but 220 is the weight were I wanted to start "Toning out"

Losing my amount of weight in a short amount of time has turned me into a rubber boy..! My skins as flabby as an old mans and I still have a gut ;P ( not huge like my 400 pound one XD ) and I got those damn folds still = /

I had 2 friends on the football team who were about the same weight, but they looked nothing like me (considering both of em never went majorly beyond there 235-240 mark. )

So I need some help, some advice, etc. What can I do to make me a man of steel and not rubber =) ?

Oh and I might add...I have some weights...and a "Crossbow" in the back room, just never used because I was more focused on weight loss..!!

So time to start the new chapter in my body management...Toning out...

400 -230
10 Pounds to go..!

Wow, Newt, what an accomplishment! Congrats!

Who is that in your avatar? Looks familiar, but I can't quite place it.

On the excess skin, I would recommend talking to your doctor. He or she may have a solution for you. You can tone up using the weights and crossbow, but that will just affect the muscles under the excess skin. It will help, but I think your doctor is the best bet.

Well maybe excess skin wasnt the good word for it, its flab, and defintely "Tonable"

Just gotta find some stuff that works I suppose = /

One Piece, I knew i recognized it! I haven't watched it, but it has a definitive style. WTH on the americanization - Ace isn't even hard to pronounce!

Flab huh - that's great! Much easier than skin (you did say flab i just took it the wrong way). I don't know much about toning, but I bet if you just added every other day weight training you'd see pretty fast results.

floppy skin can take as long as a year to sort itself out.
Try weight lifting - it tends to make it shrink faster and better.

I think u should have already scheduled an doctors appt about the skin because I know someone who lost 110 pounds and she is 25 @ time of lost weight and doc told her that it might be impossible to tone it up like she wants do to some elasticity issue or something on that line.

So consult a doctor and CONGRATS on the lost super cool.

Wow! Congrats on doing so well, I bet you are feeling awesome!

I'd start focusing on weights to build back some muscle and make sure you're staying well hydrated. Like wishes mentioned, skin can take awhile to sort out especially when the weight loss was rapid so be patient.

I'm not sure but I'm hoping that if I can get my body fat % down to the low end of normal maybe it'll help the skin rebound a bit more. I see these shows on body lifts and it seems like there is always so much fat removed too. I'm afraid I'll have to face the cosmetic options later but I'm doing everything I can in the meantime.
