Hi, My name is Jessica and I am from Ontario, Canada. I have struggled for years since the birth of my first child to really get the extra weight off. With an abusive relationship and a near death experience with Type 1 Diabetic Coma it became time for change. My worst weight was 300 lbs. The truth was my life was in danger and I was not being a positive role model for my daughter. I am still embarrassed I let it get so bad. So for the longest time I tried every "diet" on the market, threw tons of money into them and kept failing. I soon came across a facebook group promoting a new type of "meal replacement" lifestyle change. My first eye catcher was it was not pimping out some diet, but wanting to morph a community together to change the grotesque statistics of adult and child obesity in both Canada and the United States. I thought I tried the rest so I would give a go to one more. My passion in life is working with children (In school to work in the ECE division) and knew the best way to help our future generations is to ban together and help ourselves.
I was introduced that week to Visalus Sciences. There are rumors of scams and schemes on the internet but I try not to pay attention to those and just give it a shot. My life was in the balance so what was to lose. I started drinking two shakes a day, not forgetting healthy snacks and a full balanced dinner to the mix. Before I knew it I was down 50 lbs and felt a weight lifted off of me. Mind you I am still a big girl and still enjoying this journey. In total I have lost 70 lbs of weight, my sugars for my diabetes have leveled out nicely, my blood pressure has gone down severely, and I can honestly say I found the best path for me in weight loss. I truly believe everyone is different and you have to find just that right way of healthy living. I have been a customer for a long time and recently I have started a new 90 day challenge. I decided to take the leap and start promoting my success and finding team members spanning over both amazing countries. I am not here to simply advertise though, I am here to learn what others are struggling with, share my story and hope I can touch even one person. I know it can get bad, I have had dark days, and even darker nights, it is nice to know even a perfect stranger is here reaching out a hand saying if you fall, I will help you back up. I have met SO MANY amazing people online, some of my best friends are all over the United States and Canada. I have a lot better outlook on life thanks to the kindness of strangers right here online, so I can't wait to meet everyone, and I am always ready to make myself available to talk and help out in any way I can.
