I have been comparing a few different Total Gym style machines and I noticed that some gyms only have a 3 point pulley system while others boast a 3 and 4 point pulley system. My question is how important is this feature? What are the advantages/disadvantages of this type of pulley system? I have read most of the threads here about these gyms but no one seems to discuss the pulley systems used on them.
I don't want to rehash the "which one is better debate", but I am trying to decide between a TT Pilates and a VigorFit. The advantage of the TT is that it has the 3 & 4 point pulley system and the VF has the better resistance bands. Which one will be most beneficial in the long run?
