2 days a week....

Hi,

I'm a newbie here. I used to weigh 300lbs, now I have 27 more to go. Don't wanna be anything less than a size 10 or 150-160 pounds.

Anyway, I tried this diet, for two days, you do nothing but drink liquids. You have four servings of Instant Breakfast a day. One for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snak whenever you prefer to have that . You can have any other liquids you want like your coffee with breakfast. The coffee is really neat cos the caffeine really works (on most people) to dull the appetite. If you get the urge to chew, you can chew gum. I got this from a detox diet I found and a Slim fast diet I had been reading on. I was afraid I'd have the urge to eat, but I didn't. Oh, and you don't have to exercise for the two days, but it's good to do at least one workout. It makes you feel good and relieves stress. It can even be walking in place for 30 minutes. You can do this two days a week, and it helps the pounds to come off faster. Plus you don't lose as much muscle as you would on fast or just dieting. I've done it for three weeks and notice a major improvement!:D

Water and bubble gum? Well, I do drink alot of water.... I've been doing this 2 day thing for four weeks now. At the end of the month, I weigh. Sometimes after the second day tho, I still don't feel the urge to eat...weird! So I just may drop these last 35lbs easy. Just my IMO, but I think playing the video games is helping me... maybe it's a mind thing. Wish you luck, Ilikedirt. This thing seems to really be working. Oh, don't forget to take vitamins!;)
 
That sounds good to me! Before I gained back all the weight I lost, I used to drink a glass of skim milk if I felt hungry and it knocked out my appetite. The gum and water sounds like a great idea too. Plus it's inexpensive lol.

Oooh, so glad. I didn't gain anything for Thanksgiving! Didn't lose either, but... those two liquid daze really helped me this week. Now I can go back to writing erotica!:D
 
I wouldn't do this myself, but if it works for you, that's great. The thing to be wary of is drinking liquids containing sugar. I can imagine someone drinking a few litres of sugary drinks and wondering why they can't lose weight.

On the two days, most of the things I drank or ate were like... instant breakfast, teas, coffee, even jello. If I just needed something filling. Slimfast is also good for that, I just found the instant breakfast was a great alternative to it in that it costs less. I've been doing this in between holiday feasts. Sure helps. Oh on the coffee and tea, I use sweet n low instead of sugar. Also fruit juices were great sweetners for the teas too.(I had several smoothies, but I walked when I had those just to be safe).;)
 
Oh, one other thought. This sort of diet will show a rapid weight loss because you have less mass travelling through your digestive tract, once you rid yourself of the previous matter. If you eat a lot of vegetables, a lot of undigested fibre will travel through your bowels (which is good for you). If you're not replacing that mass, you will lose weight as you go to the toilet. It's not fat loss, you're just not carrying it around with you.
 
65 miles? YOu go boy!
