Hey, I am looking for someone to help me I weigh 330 pounds and I am 6 feet and 1 inch tall I am maintaining my weight but wanna lose weight. I would like to get down to at least 240 -230 and make my way down from there. I am looking for a diet that is really good for a really inactive person like me. I am a meat and potatoes kind of guy and really don't like fancy food. I'll eat basically any fruit and meat I love vegetables but I am really picky about what vegetables I eat I love eating (favorite thing to eat) Broccoli raw (No ranch just raw with water) or cooked, Carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, celery, and cucumbers. I also would like to be low on carbs maybe like 30- 40g max I also only like eating 1 meal a day (Dinner time} because it helps me not overeat. I got to this weight because I have ADHD and Autism and I took a pill called Adderall which makes me feel full but when it wears off I got extremely hangry and ate like 5000 calories a day. I am open to doing exercise too but really can only run for like 5 - 10 minutes and don't have a gym membership. Anyways if I could get someone to help me that would be great!

Welcome Alex, I understand the problem with the medication, my sons are all ASD and ADHD. While low carb is good (I am very low carb) it is not essential and even when low carb, calories count. Your choices of food are fine so quantity is the problem. Although you may not feel hungry during the day you should still try to eat a small meal, it will help with the extreme hunger when the medication wears off.

exercise does not need to be running, walking is good, if there is a small quiet gym near you that allows teen member, lifting is a good option and helped improve my sons ability to focus, reduce anger and no longer need medication.

Do you need to take your medication on the weekend when not at school ? doing this allowed my sons to maintain a normal eating pattern 2 days per week.

I don’t take my medication anymore because I’ve learned how to control my adhd forgot to mention that in my post. As for a gym I really don’t have the money to pay for I kind of went broke...

Hi Alex. Welcome to the forum. Your situation definitely sounds like it has its own challenges. If you're interested, I would suggest checking out the diaries section because it is the most active part of the site. There are a lot of helpful and supportive people there.
