Training influences what kind of what you'll gain/lose, diet influences whether you'll gain it or lose it. So the main thing for you to do once you're settled into training 2-3x/wk is to start fixing up your diet.

First: you can't lose fat on just one area of your body. the fat will dissapear all over your body.
Second: Concentrate on nutrition. Go to the diets section and learn about how to lose weight. In a simple way: you need to eat less calories, and no junk food. Follow a good plan!
Third: Good thing you started doing crossfit. PUSH TO THE MAX! Give your best in each workout. Also, 2x/week is not the best. Go more times, and the perfect situation was if you could join a gym, where you can weight lift the right way.
