15 Year Old Wanting to Lose Weight

Hello. I am 15 years old and am 6'3". I am between 200 and 220 pounds (last time I checked). I don't know my body fat percentage.

I eat cereal for breakfast, a normal lunch at school and a normal dinner at home. I don't overeat at all.

The only exercise I get currently is riding my bike to and from school, and from home to school it's 2 miles, so I ride about 4 miles on the schooldays. I want to start working out, though. I do have access to a gym.

My question: What kind of exercises to I need to start doing to lose overall fat on my body? I want to look thinner than what I am now.

I don't diet because I honestly don't need to. I don't eat bad foods.

I don't have any medical problems or injuries.

So once again my question is what kind of exercises should I get into to start losing weight. I have access to my apartment complex's 24 hour gym. Thanks ahead of time.

You might want to go into further detail about your food intake, what is a normal lunch and a normal dinner?

Well for your height, I'd imagine you're only mildly overweight.

I'm also going to question your eating habits because if you're biking to and from school and are actively gaining weight, then there must be some calories creeping in somewhere. Do you drink a lot of soda, milk, juice, or sports drinks? Those calories can easily add up.
