hey guys! im new and i would really like to lose 15-20 pounds by september
5th. i also want a flat stomach and thinner thighs! it would be alot of help if you guys could send ideas, or sucess stories! thanks.:)

well i am gonna try counting calories, and excercising everyday. i think i also want to try the special k diet, but i was hoping for some advice. lol
 
Hi Socgr123! Welcome to the forum! :D I think your plan of exercise and calorie counting is a great one and will help you get to your goal by your planned date :D I must, however, mention my concern over the "special k diet". It will probably help you get to your goal but the minute you start eating "normal" again, you could gain it all back again (and possibly more) :eek: This is not to discourage you but to inform you of the dangers of such a diet poses.

Aerobics can be very effective. I would start out with long walks. I kinda like the idea of "walk 'til you drop". It is great for burning calories. Plus it is very easy to do. Integrate some weight training since the more muscles you have, the more calories you burn. By all means, ease your way into the exercise routine and don't rush.
