14 year old help with looking good

im not built like a rugby player, or anywere near as flexable as some of my friends, i do cross-country for winter sport and basketball for summer. Im not looking to bulk up to the size of the hulk or anything, i just want to look and feel better than i do, a bit of toneing is all im looking for, my legs are good because i run alot. Its my arms, cest and abs that i want to build up a bit.

I do run 6 kilometers twice a week plus a few sprints and make an attempt at about 30 sit ups and 30 push ups every day im not running, some of my friends have told me to do 100 every day but from the little knowlege i have of body building i thought that is mor ecardio than building. i just have no idea how to set up a training program or what to put in it.

so really i did'nt need to write that big section, im just looking for a few tips on how to make a squedual and what to put in it

Thanks.

This should go without saying, but here it is anyway:

Get access to weights. You'll see the fastest growth there. There are specified workout routines you can do, but when I started I just started going in there and figuring out which muscles I wanted to train and just worked them out. Nothing to it, really. The main thing is that you stay motivated and consistent.

thx for the reply

Thx for replying, and thx for the input, i considered weights but i heard that they can stunt your groth, and iv got a few friends that are quite short because of usuing weights. is this true or is that just for things like benchpressing
