I just ran 13 miles today...i actually run 13 miles once a week and 6-7 miles usually on the other days of the week with one or two days that are lighter. How much should i UP my calorie intake and NOT gain weight? I'm doing a half marathon in April as well.
We started at about 11 miles I'd say about a month or more ago. We only recently started building up to 13 miles. My runner partner is doing the Disney Half Marathon in January so after that we are not going to do 13 miles once a week...because our next half marathon race is not till April. I have been averaging 30-40 miles a week.
Are you losing weight now? Gaining? If you aren't gaining or losing weight, then keep doing what you're doing. If you're gaining or losing, adjust upward or downward.
