Hello helpful person.
I'm in bit of a struggle with my weight loss goals.
Since the begining of january I've been on a diet towards my goal, wich is to loose around 40kg and get into a good shape. I don't really want to get into a story session about beeing obese all my life, altho i want to but i'd like to reward my self later with that.
Regarding my struggle.
My starting weight was 130 kg. Now i currently weigh 110 kg. My height is 1.98cm and I'm a 19 year old male.
The pace I've been going on is quite confusing. I've been traveling a lot so i haven't been as active as i'd like to be. But overall I've lost 20kg as of now. The way I've been doing this is jusy eating moderatly and lifting weights. Now recently I've been taking it more seriously and I'm eating a lot healthier and exercising more. Mainly weights. I feel a lot better and I'm more motivated than before.
Anyway i sort of made a deadline to get in shape for my graduation trip. I'm not going to stop after the deadline has passed, I'd just like to get in a good shape before it so i don't have to feel embarassed with my shirt off.
The reason why I'm asking is that i've recently started a strict diet and I'm going to the gym 5-6 times a week and I'm just confused about what to do. I don't like cardio that much but i can push my self when needed. I like the way things are going I'm just curious if i need to know something before i start. For example
1) Is cardio a complete must for me? I always hit the treadmill before a workout and run for about 10min. Then i spend about an hour lifting weights. Do you reccomend it over lifting? That is more cardio less weights? I'm just quite confused.
2) Should i consider buying protein whey? Or something else in this case.
3) Do you think It's possible for me to reach my deadline? If so any tips?
