I'm 25 years old and live in Vancouver, B.C. My 2.5 year old son keeps me running around most of the day and I am also 34 weeks pregnant with my little girl. My workplace just closed down so I have gone from a pretty busy lifestyle to being at home most of the time - having trouble adjusting sometimes! Anyhoo...
Pre pregnancy I was about 120 lbs, 5'5, and between 18% to 22% body fat. I weighed 126 at 12 weeks pregnant and now I weigh somewhere between 143 - 155 (the difference between my doctors scale and my friends I weighed at today!). I'm thinking I'm somewhere between. I was training with a personal trainer 2 x per week and doing moderate cardio. Definately wasn't at my full potentional. So I am now freaking out because I only wanted to gain between 22 - 25 lbs this time around (I gained 60 lbs with my son) and I think I have gained about 30 lbs and I still have 6 more weeks to go.
I have to admit I didn't eat as healthy as I should for the past couple months. My main issue is that my hubby comes home pretty late at night with takeout and I ususally eat that. I am also hungriest at night and tend to overeat at that time. I do pretty good most of the day - usually between 1800 - 2000 calories per day. I was working out for the first 4 or 5 months and then let it go. My little girl is going to be born by scheduled c-section on September 7, 2006 as well so I'm trying to get in good shape for that.
Now, I have made some changes to make sure I gain only a pound a week until the end of my pregnancy (my doctor said this was ok). I have signed up for personal training 2 x per week again and have vowed to do 30 min. of cardio every day no matter what. I guess I should do some resistance training on my own too? And I am trying to get over my chocolate addiction as well! SOOOO HARD!

Maybe I'll log everything I do each do and see if that helps me stay on track...
