Just thought I'd share my progress so far. Have been exercising for about 13 weeks and have gone from running for about 15 mins to now 3/4 times a week. Two workouts involve intervals for 30 mins, one is a 30/40 minute jog and then each Saturday/Sunday I aim to do a 10k run.
Yesterday I beat my personal record and managed 10k without stopping in 56.54!!!!!
I'm really pleased with my result, my next goal is to run 15k.
Would love to know how individuals build up their running and any tips on moving up to 15k would be greatly appreciated.
Also what are your best times for 5 or 10k???
