what kind do you use? I use the GNC 100% Whey protein, and it is Chocolate flavored. It says it's ok to use with both milk and water, but I think that depends on what kind of training you are doing. If you are trying to burn fat, i'm pretty sure it's a good idea to stay away from dairy products. I use water with mine, and I have no problem with the taste. After a couple of uses with it, the taste most likely won't become so much of a big deal anymore.
