100 Push up Challenge site, I just started

A buddy of mine at work tipped me off to this site. I just started at week 5, killer workout. Have a look if you're trying to get your pushup or sit-up numbers up for military, police, SWAT etc training.

If you started at week 5 then you must have knocked out well over 50 consecutive in the initial test. I did 50 and with my age I started at week 3. Day three of week four it starts to get tough. I agree with you 100% this is a challenge not many people attempt and is a great addition to a well rounded workout. I've been doing lots of pushup varieties to reach 100 with the plateau problems so I decided to follow this plan and see where it takes me.

That looks interesting. I did 50 push-ups for last week's challenge but not in one go. I spread them throughout the day. It could be a good program to follow. Let us know how you're progressing.

Sugarloaf where are you in the training? My week five routine is 5 sets--36 reps 40 reps 30 reps 24 reps and a max effort of at least 40 reps. After I finish today I'm going to add in some variety with bands or plates and some ball etc pushups. The site says to count in sets of ten. This helps and I even did fives to get to 40 the other day. Good Luck. Sept 3rd is my goal for 100.
