1 Hour Whole Body 3-4x weekly vs Split Schedule to add muscle size and endurance.

I have conflicting messages in my mind. :angry3::angry3: Total body most effective, but don't workout parts more than twice weekly? Do I need to divide my parts between days or is that something for the advanced peopel? Can I truely add muscular endurance and size in the same workout cycle? Working in heart rate maintaining exercises to promote endurance between stressing push/pull systems? Alternating push and pull in a total body workout?

Can you give me a suggested 1 hour workout and your rational behind it.

It is the rational I am really looking for.
