Don't Die It, LIVE IT!

Hey gang I am new to the forum. But not new to the fitness game, and helping people get the results they want. I want to give everyone a couple tips that they can start implementing into their daily routine to start seeing the pounds disappear before the holidays come into full force. As a C.P.T. you come across much conflicting information on what's good or bad, real or fake, in all things health or fitness. I am here to help you clear all that up, with real life experience and examples.

Start Here.
Drink MORE WATER! At least half your body weight in ounces of good clean structured water (i recommend distilled) water is the 2nd most important thing to the body, next to oxygen which we can only live a matter of minutes without. Your body is between 70%-80% water, at least that is what it needs to be to function properly. Water will help flush your body of any toxins that are in it as well. Of course you will be using the restroom more frequently at first until you are hydrated. Small price to pay for the feeling of hydration. Don't be surprised when you start drinking more water that your body will crave it and you will find yourself being more thirsty.

Implement more leafy green veggies into your diet, such as spinach, kale, mustard greens, collard greens, and more green veggies like broccoli, asparagus, brussel sprouts, alfalfa sprouts, just to name a few. These are full of oxygen and will put more oxygen back into your body, and they are easily absorbed since they are not processed and manufactured. When you put more oxygen into your blood you will notice increased energy levels which will make working out easier and expedite the fat burning process.

Intake some good oils, you can get them from sources such as avocados, tuna, salmon, and trout. If you are not a fish eater there are plenty of plant based oils that you can take. You can actually supplement fish oils pills through some plant based sources as well. Essential oils and fats will help break down the fat!

first of all welcome to the forum!
i am also a new member and its great to have more people with experience here.
as to your tips, in general i do agree with you. but i believe the secret is to balance all that you eat and drink. drinking water is just like you said very important, but drinking to much can be a problem. there are a lot of experts debating on which is the right amount of water we need to drink in order to maintain a healthy and balanced body. so how much do we need to drink, this is basically depends on the individual and the amount of energy he puts in his daily routine (weather he is active or not).
i am personally a big fan of listening to your body, if you feel thirsty drink water. if your going for any kind of activity make sure you have a large amount of water.
i also agree with the importance of eating healthy greens in your diet, but than again you have to balance your diet and eat otherfruits & vegetable with different colors such as red (tomatoes, red peppers) orange (carrots, oranges) for they have other qualities that are very important for our body.

thanks for your reply! it wasn't intended to mention ONLY what to eat or drink, but a few suggestions that can help get people going in the right direction. As far as the water intake goes, if you are feeling thirsty you are probably already somewhat dehydrated, it's important to keep constant water coming in. Your body will lose half it's weight in ounces a day just through normal activity (sweating, breathing, urination, etc) so as a minimum requirement you need to drink at least half your body weight in ounces EVERY SINGLE DAY! i have been drinking two gallons of water a day for the last 5 years and have had no issues, and when my clients have become fully hydrated it has only expedited their results, it is VERY, VERY, VERY important! I avoid what goes on in the media and what they are hyping up and who is talking. I have a very tight network of some of the world's most leading health experts, that I have listen to and work with, and with that when I deliver their knowledge to my clients it's a win win win for all.
a balance in your diet is the MOST important thing, and colors are important as well! i 100% agree with you. low sugar fruits and veggies are the way to go. we just have to make sure we watch what we put in our mouths and make sure we are at least 75% good. It's not about crash, fad, or yo-yo dieting, but balancing our bodies back into the natural state that they were once in is what we are after. when the body functions like it is supposed to, when we fuel it properly we experience the highest quality of life.
Look at your body as a bank, the more energy deposits you make in your bank, the better your bank is. The more energy withdrawls you take out of your body through the form of stimulants, processed and manufactured foods, stressful lifestyle, malnutrition, and various other factors the worse off your body will be. It's the same as a "money" bank. The more you put in the better, the more you take out the worse! The last thing we want to do is leave our bodies running on "energy" credit that we borrowed!

Awesome

trainingone,

That is great advice. I have been practicing similar strategies for years now and they WORK! I have also drank 5 gallons of pure ionized well structured water in one day and I have never felt better! I am still alive after drinking that much water haha. I agree on Super Hydrating, for 5 years now I have been drinking more than 2 gallons of distilled water a day and have not been sick or have had a doctor tell me I have health problems.
