Dying...........

Basically, i just feel like saying, this forum is dying.

Less & less people are posting, it's starting to get boring as well.

Just stating the obvious :) :(

I think it's because you took the sheep avatar down.

As much as I hate to have to say it, the massive volume of vulgarity has pushed a lot of people away from the site. People are choosing to post questions in places where their threads won’t be filled with people talking about fisting and bestiality.

Crazy I know, but some people like serious discussion inbetween the smut

I really find it hard to believe that, thats the cause. I do.

I agree somewhat with Typhon. But also this forum goes through ups and downs, I've seen a few..

You can look at it in somewhat of a way that people join gyms. Dec-Feb are crazy busy because of the new years resolutions and then it sorta dies down come March. It will pick back up in spring time.

We need some new threads that people can participate in to get the place moving again, I'll try and think of some.

And when they get posted, no talk of bondage, anal r*pe, bestiality or porno's if that's OK

*lock and load*

yeah, we need some threads that create some debate.

I would really love more physiology talk, as I love that kind of stuff. But not everyone does :( there aren't that many here I can discuss that type of stuff with, which kinda sucks.

Spring break abs!

The forums that have a lot of regulars usually have a very active lounge. This adds to the fun factor and keeps people checking in regularly.

dying

Everyone has stated fine reasons for the lull in the relevance of this site and I agree with the need for more educated discussions on exercise and fitness without all the trash. Sometimes it seems like only a handful of people actually use this site. Some are positive and some should just stay home. The CrossFit site is both motivating, informative and brutally challenging. I read the WOD every AM even if I can't attempt them. Sooo maybe we should have something similar.
Just some ideas.
1. What are the five best exercises to do at home?
2. What are your five favs for building muscle fast in the weight room?
3. Is 25 lbs of muscle the most you can gain without supplements?
4. Does cardio break down muscle?
5. I read where some body builders don't lift heavy weight. Can you gain muscle without heavy weight?
6. Can all you trainers post an exercise of the day?
7. Training for slow gainers.
8. Can you train with your wife at home? What do you folks do to have this in common with your significant other?
9. My favorite ab exercise is the plank and variations. What's yours?

All and all I still get good info. When I look at posts from prior days I don't see a lot of response to good questions and I rarely see a response from the original poster. It's hard to tell if your helping if no one responds. Swim bike run listen to your body lift more often and maintain a great self image in spite of the challenges. Develop maintain and have some fun. Later.

There is a lot of communities out there, the best way to keep on going.. is keep on going normally?

Helping out the new people as much as possible will help keep them motivated and interested. Popularity means nothing, the success of 10 people is worth the post count of 10,000 people.

That's my two pennies.

This post ROCKS! :)

Best wishes,

I think one of the biggest problems here is the lack of people who know what they are talking about when people ask questions with respect to exercise, etc. and they give advice that isn't always correct.

There aren't many people here who know what they are talking about. I can count them on one hand.

Don't you get this on any internet forum though? You can't always believe what you read on the internet, right? :) It's the nature of the beast, everyone is entitled to an opinion in an open forum like this.

Although I'm pretty new I thought the same thing. If you look a the post dates of a lot of the info on here you'd think half the world went to sleep.

ZZzzzzzz......
