Help! I can't flex my abs!

this scared the crap outta me cuz i thought my abs were getting deformed or something. my middle left "pack" won't do anything when i flex! the rest of the "packs" tighten and the middle left one just stays the same. it looks so deformed. i was doing hanging leg raises last night and the middle left "pack" is still "lazy". help! did i pull something? is it dislocated or something?

Do you feel any abdominal pain?

How may sets, reps did you do? What is the rest period between sets? What is the rest period between workouts?

What is your previous history of training?

What is your nutrition like?

Best wishes

im fine now. that was the first time i did hanging leg raises (or whatever they're called) and i think i shocked my abs or something lol. im fine now. more definition now after just one workout. hanging leg raises are intense :eek2:

Sounds like it. He said he's fine now above.

That doesn't seem right though, why it would do that just from doing leg raises...

Have to remember we are not all put together the same, and it could be a variety of factors involved, such as improperly performing the exercise, performing far too many sets and not allowing enough recovery where it fatigues the muscle/tendons pre-maturely, etc, etc. Diet can play a function as well, IMO.

Ah yes, Point taken.

muscles can have the feeling of not flexing or much feeling after intense work or the like (usally around 6-8 hours after), you must be in alot of pain by now :) DOMS is fun enjoy it.
