Newbie to this forum here.. INTRODUCTION

Hello. I'm from New Brunswick Canada and just found this site today.

I used to weight train when I was young and then stopped when I was round 20 or so. (wasn't anything serious back then).

at age 36 and being overweight, I decided that it was time to start some sort of excercise and a change of eating habits (late night junk food, fast food restaurants and what not)......

I managed to loose 30lbs from March to June (till I got injured and had to stop any physical activities that would put my shoulder in jeopardy). I kept the weight off, and now it's time to hit the GYM again and I want to push a little more than I did before.

I am not a healthy eater by any means (trying to change that and will ask questions in the other forums).

I am currently 37, male, 5'6" and weight 175 (+/- a few lbs).....

Anyways, all that to introduce myself.....

i'm sure i'll have more to say.....

I think my metabolism had helped me to keep it off somewhat.. Before I hit age 26, I was always on the skinny side, till I got a desk job and everything slowed down for me..

Metabolism naturally slows as we age, but it can be effectively dealt with.
