The Warrior quest journal

Hi everyone,
I'm posting this thread to keep myself mainly motivated and also to receive the occasional good encouragement and advice from the members here :)

As you may have read, it's called the warrior quest, yeah, may sound totally lame but it's something that's long been on my mind and it's simply my motivation.
I've always been very thin and unmuscular and well, I've tried working out before but this time I didn't give in after the 1st month and my couch made a special training plan which motivated me even more. So I'm starting to educate myself about diet and I also have more discipline and motivation when going to the gym. I hope it will stay this way and that I achieve my goal of looking like 'the warrior'.

I'll post more info about my routine, body and history later. :)
 
Just came back from the gym.
I had triceps and back exercises today but didn't enjoy it as much, cause most of them were new to me and I didn't do'em correctly.
I felt kind of embarassed asking 'how to do it' or 'am I doing it right' all the time, but hopefully within time I'll be using the correct technique :)

Rating of today's gym 6/10 :rolleyes:
 
Yesterday I had shoulder day and it was really bad.
I wasn't enjoying it, cause I didn't know how to do the exercises I was given properly so I felt kind of embarassed.
Yesterday however I finished my 4 phase training for the first time, so I've done all the exercises, so from now on it's gonna be more fun for me hopefully.
 
Things have been going very good !
I guess it's natural that with my dedication to work out and live a healthier lifestyle, I started looking into nutrition and healthy foods.
I started eating and drinking healthier with 3 protein shakes a day.

I started to actually enjoy my work out program ! Sure, when you're supposed to leave the house you start to wonder what would happen if you didn't go today, but then you go and feel great. I hope it stays this way and that I continue in this manner. :) It's been 2 weeks now !

Today was friggin awesome !
Did shoulders today with ankles and belly and I had so much energy that I added some exercises myself ! I was having a great time and now everything hurts me in a very comfortable manner :)

YEEAAAAAAH HEAVY METAL :cool:

I start my morning with 5 eggs (without the yellow center ofcourse) and a sidedish of veggies and some bread along with that.
I make a protein shake with about 7 kinds of nuts legumes and a piece of banana.

About 4-5 hours later I eat something for lunch - spaghetty, or meat, whatever mom makes, nothing special usually. Then I also take a protein shake just with milk.
I take 1 before going to the gym and then 1 after the gym. For lunch I eat again, whatever we have. I try to keep it healthy (like not eating the unhealthy stuff) but I know its still not 100% healthy.
I also eat lots of fruits and veggies during the day, I kinda started to be obsessed with them, really love'em ! And I drink plenty of pure water, no sodas !

Im not really sure about the details of my workout plan as I keep it in the gym. I have about 6-7 exercises every day and it's written so I exercise my entire body (im just a beginner). It's something like this -->
Day 1 - Boob muscles (sorry, don't know what its called in english :p) and biceps

Day 2 - Legs

Day 3 - Triceps and back

Day 4 - Shoulders and ankles
Every day is also included 1 back and 1-2 types of crunches.

What do you think ? :)

Yesterday was friggin awesome !
Laziness got the better of me, Im going thru a very tough time with my personall issues so I pretty much didn't want to walk out of my house.
But my father finally brought me Creatine I asked for (along with some more supplements) so I couldn't resist and go !

Damn, was I sweating ! I felt wonderful, did a good job and my body hurts like hell now :).

A funny story - I was always going on my dad's membership card as he didn't want to buy me one. So he finally bought me one aswell but he couldn't resist to play a little joke on me.
When I entered the gym, the owner welcomed me and informed me that I was the winner of the 'Biggest muscular growth for this month' (which was funny, cause I', going to the gym 3 weeks) and I won a membership card.He said that the voting was anonymous and that only women voted. It was even written on the card :p . People had a good laugh and sometimes when they walked passed me, asked me if I was happy and that they hope to win next time to but next to me it's gonna be hard :D.

Got back to exercising after a months brake. A new girlfriend came up and I've spent all my free time with her, leaving no time for the gym. First one week and then it went easy for me not to go anymore. Thankgod we already broke up, she was bad news.

So I was suprised not find my muscles so weak after 1 month ! I pretty much lifted the same weights. I do feel it this morning however... :p

Glad to see you are back. At least, possibly you got some "cardio work in" before you two split?! Possibly? :)

Haha indeed I got WAY more 'cardio' work than when I was exercising !
I m gonna kick ass at the gym tommorow...gona work my back and hands.

YES! You were flat cooken it!......good to hear!

What were your personal issues, if you dont mind me asking about them? Did you get these worked out?

The boob muscles are called: Pecs for men. :)

Can you give a bit more detail on your routine? Sets, reps, and types of exercises, how many days per week, etc. I am going to refrain from making additional comment until you impart more information.

When you train the ankles, what are you doing?
