So did I jack myself up?

Took a few weeks off my workout routine, started up again this past Friday. Ever since Saturday morning, my triceps in both of my arms has been incredibly sore, and I can't bend my arms fully. I had done 3 sets of 10 on the triceps curl machine (amongst other weights, but that was the only tricep exercise I did)

First couple of days I figured maybe it was just post-workout soreness (which I am not usually prone to). But here it is Monday and it's still unimproved. I've been dosing it with Icy Hot for the last couple of days. Starting to irritate me having to ask my wife to help me get my shirt off at the end of the night.

Is 3+ days normal recovery for that muscle or something? If it was just one of them, I'd figure I'd pulled something, but both of them with the same soreness in the same spots?

And if it is normal, anything I can do to expedite it?
 
I wouldn't say its normal but you can probubly give it another day or so and your sorness should subside. After taking a week off my tris butt and sometimes chest will get sore and remain sore for 2 or 3 days.

To prevent it in the future cut back on your load the first day back.
