Need Some Advice...

Hello all, this is my first post to the message board I'm looking to get some advice to help improve my overall workout scheme. I have found a lot of useful information here by searching the boards and hope this thread will help me even further.

Ok, here's some of my history. I started working out "faithfully" back in Feb 07 by running 2-3 Miles (3 times a week). I'm now running (7-8 mph) 4-5 miles (5/6 times a week). In addition to running, I've been doing various types of weight training at my local gym. I have noticed significant improvements as I dropped from 204lbs down to 162lbs. My waist size has also dropped from a size 34/36 down to a size 30. My diet has been controlled (most of the time) by eating appox 1800 (give or take) calories a day made up of mostly chicken, whole wheat breads, green vegetables, fruits, and nuts. The problem is I still have this stomach fat (which has improved slightly) that will not go away. I realize there is nothing I can do to "spot train" fat but can anyone give me advice on what I can do to alter my workout scheme and/or diet to help me achieve my goal of a flat stomach? I was also thinking about purchasing a book by Mike Geary called "Truth about Six Pack Abs", . Has anyone read this book? Any comments?

Thanks in advance for reading my thread!

Randy
