Hard to Gain weight, plz help.

Ive been on a FBW for about little over a month now and I have amazing results, to my standard. My shoulders have gotten bigger and stronger as well as every other part on my body pretty much. People have noticed Ive been getting bigger and stronger. My only question is: Why am I getting bigger but not putting on any weight?

my weight goes up and down very easy. I do play competitive league soccer and after a game I can loss up to 8 pounds. Right now I'm buffering between 133-136. I can't seem to get any heavier. Any advice?

There is a difference between better definition and bigger. It is more than likely you are naturally shifting between gaining mass and losing fat. Small amounts of lean mass gain mixed with loss of body fat covering though gains leads to a more strong and defined appearance.

In short less body fat=better muscle definition. You can see someone who has great "guns" but if body fat is covering them they look soft and weaker. Take away that body fat and they looked "stacked"

In general this is a good thing as it means you may lead towards a natural understanding of what your body needs, that you listen to it. Go with that, or in other words, don't fix what isn't broken.
That is if you are liking your look.

If you want to gain more mass then simply eat more along side your training. It takes energy to gain mass, if you aren't eating enough of it, you aren't going to support muscle growth.

Ok Thanks. I was just wondering about that. I have always been a very lean guy, never had much body fat. Everyone always thinks 150-160ish. I know people that are very skinny not "built" at all and don't see much BF on them and they all still heavier then me. But again thanks for the help

Lower bodyfat makes you look bigger (muscular) even at different weights e.g. you could look bigger at 150 with 10% body fat than you might at 160 with 15% bodyfat.

Your obviously doing something right if you are happy with your results.

I am fairly happy with my results. I actually took my BF% today in gym class. According to the "calculator" I had 6.1% I doubt that is very accurate because all we had to do is put in our age, height, weight, and sex and just had to hold it in front of us for about 10 seconds. Not sure how accurate that is.

This is just a general question don't related to weight.
Ive heard this a lot " to gain muscle you need to the tear the muscle so it will grow" How do you when you tore the muscle?

Another question.
In my fitness class at school we do a lot of cardio. I like to workout and gain muscle and do a bit of cardio but since I will be running a lot now(3-4 times a week) should I hit the weights harder so I don't loss much muscle from running all the time?
