Your thoughts

Hi i am a 17 year old male 5'11" 148lbs. I used to weigh 175-180 so I lost a good amount. I also lift a good amount of weights, run, and do a lot of crunches. I know that I have a bit of gynecomastia but I'm hoping that's just hormones and I out grow it soon. However I keep doubting myself more and more. I feel like my body is misshaped and I don't know what to consider myself anymore. I don't know if I should lose more weight or what. Here are some pictures maybe you guys can tell me what you think.
 
You look very lean and normal to me. I wouldn't lose any more weight if I were you. I would recommend bulking some instead, depending on what look you're trying to achieve.

As for your self doubt and uncertainties about how to identify with yourself, if you're still in highschool, talk to a school counselor. That's what they are there for and their services are free.
 
Your pecs look fine to me man. If you still don't believe me, get a hormone test done by a physician and they'll show all your hormone levels.
You actually sound exacly like me when I joined up :D Stop losing weight, start eating like a champ(search the forums on bulking meals) and hit those weights!

your stats are pretty much exactly mine currently, but im younger, almost 16, 5' 9''...180-185...and i have gynecomastia as well...but it looks horrible on me...im hopin to end up like u in a year...

You are asking us a question that you should answer for yourself. What is making you feel the need to look better, be skinnier. We all have times where we feel we have a flaw, and it needs to improve. But the first plan of action is telling ourself what will it benefit ourself to improve this flaw. Find what your flaw is, and begin goal setting from there. I believe its all in your head. You look fit to me. You want muscles? You want mass? You want to be skinnier? All questions you must ask yourself. When you get that down.. come back here and tell us what you want to improve, and we'll guide you bro. :)
 
I'm not really sure how to explain the look I want to go for. I want to stay slim but at the same time be strong, tight, and fit. Like a Brad Pitt in fightclub type of look or something I'm sure that sounds a little queer but I don't know how to explain it. Maybe you guys know a better word for it.
 
very low bodyfat .. if you want the brad pitt look in fight club .. im sure he lifted but for seeing all his muscles and appearing shredded is due to extremely low bf %

and how would I go about doing this? Does this mean I have to lose more weight? Is there a good bf calculator i could use?
 
no u just need to lose fat .. basically start lifting to build lean muscle mass .. also u can try some HIIT as well since alot of people here say it burns fat while minimalizing muscle loss

i would do compound movements for lifting .. like bench press .. standing military press .. deadlifts .. pulliups .. squats ..

u look kinda skinny fat to me..
i think u should just bulk and see how it goes then cut.
